This is a few days late but the 22nd was my 14th birthday and i had lovely time dahling. I woke up and opened my birthday
presents ,from my sister i got the cutest 1930's black crocheted purse and wonderful 1940's black crepe cape with black sequins and cute red 1950s coin purse with a poodle on it. From my mother the most gorgeous 1940's mink coat I've been wanting for months. That night we had a yummy dinner at The Wild fork restaurant, came back to my house and had some wonderful birthday cake with some sparkling juice on the side. The next day we were still celebrating ,to my surprise my sister and my mother had been planning for few weeks to take me to Oklahoma City to see the 'From Sketch to Screen 'Exhibit which features costumes worn By Marlene Dietrich,Norma Shearer,Bette Davis,Claudette Colbert,Fred Astaire,Greta Garbo and many more it was soo amazing to be standing right in front of all the wonderful stars costumes.I had the most Fab birthday ever.!!

Part 2

Cute Estee Lauder champagne compact from 2000 the top of the ''ice bucket'' opens and reveals the mirror (Michellesvintagejewelry .com)
We have been trying to find one of these ever since we saw one in Broadway Melody of 1940 with Eleanor Powell and Fred Astaire. It is from RubyLane.com
This one is really cute too
I thought this one was cool also. It looks like the lens but its really a compact.
it has a cigarette holder on the inside and the dials are lipstick and lighter

The last two are from 1stdibs.com

I'm like a Birdie

Look at this birdie compact. Salvador Dali designed this and its from the 1950s
You open it and there it shows the powder and on the end of the tail is a pillbox, they thought of everything.
And you take off the head and there is the lipstick THIS IS AMAZING!(to be continued) from 1stdibs.com

Just got through watching Double Indemnity (1944) and wow i definitely give it 5 stars such an an amazing movie, great storyline ,such a surprising ending. Barbara Stanwyck is one of my favorite actress ever it also stars Fred MacMurray and Edward G.Robinson . When Smitten insurance man Walter Neff (Fred MacMurray) plots the purfect murder with femme fatale client Phyllis Dietrichson (Barbara Stanwyck) they stage her husbands ''accidental'' death to collect double indemnity on his life insurance.
